CBN lists fresh terms for banking licence

PROSPECTIVE investors in the nation's financial sector may have to contend with additional conditions to secure a banking licence, as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) raised the bar for eligibility.

Piracy level in Nigeria is 58 per cent, reveals survey

IN SPITE of the efforts of the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) to combat piracy, especially through the instrumentality of the Strategic Action Against Piracy (STRAP) initiative, the piracy level in Nigeria, at present, is put at 58 per cent. This revelation is contained in a survey conducted by the NCC in collaboration with the Ford Foundation.
