YET another moment of celebration descended in Ososo, Akoko-Edo Local Council of Edo State, as the community, which recently played host to Season 8 of Gulder Ultimate Search, staged a special carnival to usher in the New Year.

Tagged, the 'Ososo Carnival', it was organised by Ososo Cultural Renaissance and Development Foundation  (OSCRADEL).

The carnival, which was endorsed and supported by Edo State government, featured activities such as 'Bonfire Night', which attracted Chairman of Akoko-Edo Local Government,  Mr. Anslem  Agbabi,  and many others; 'Carnival Walk', 'Mountain Climbing', 'Cultural Dance', 'Open Air Concert' and 'Face of Culture and Tourism Afemai' (Beauty Pageant).

AS part of activities at the carnival, there was presentation of Exercise and Text Books, for the seven primary schools in the town by Ososo Development Association (ODA), Abuja  branch, as a way of supporting the state government's Education Programme.

Agbabi, while commending ODA for its bold step in helping education development in Edo State, stated, "this is a challenge to those out there to do more on education."
