Since the beginning of this year’s edition of the competition, Head Office team had displayed huge level of dexterity and prowess, which landed them to the final stage of the competition, at the same time emerging the winner of the 2013 MD’s Cup competition.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Total Nigeria Plc, Francois Boussagol, said the tournament is part of the company’s work-life-balance initiatives, put together to encourage sporting activities among employees, adding that, apart from being a lot of fun and entertainment, sporting events like this offers several health benefits to the physical and mental well-being of participants.

According to him, “it is our belief that a healthy workforce is a pre-requisite for productivity and sustainable growth in all ramifications.

Beyond productivity, we see the games as a good opportunity to bring together employees from different locations and different divisions to interact with one another outside the normal work environment”, he noted.
