SPECIFYING the actual needs when planning the wellbeing package is important. This comprises different factors, which must be adequately addressed to achieve the desired result. And, of course, all must be incorporated into the daily routine for an effective impact.
Because it is so easy to lose focus in the everyday hustle and bustle, mapping out one’s strategy from the outset in this regard is essential. Appropriate time and attention have to be allocated to each segment of the programme.
Being all right in every aspect of life is crucial since it influences not only the individual’s quality of life but also his/her performance and the consequent success recorded in this wise. This certainly gives rise to the common saying that ‘health is wealth.’

Reading all sorts of good books, magazines, journals, not only broadens one’s knowledge, it equally ensures that the intellectual health is strengthened and fortified. Same result is achieved with solving problems, engaging in mental activities such as crossword and jigsaw puzzles, as well as learning new languages or new methods of doing things generally.
It is recommended that the individual takes a breather often from the demanding modern living, with its accompanying stress. This should be undertaken more than once a year, as many people are wont to do. Doing the appropriate thing in this regard decongests the system as well as re-energise and revitalise the body.
Included in the physical is the need to detoxify the system regularly. This process helps to dislodge harmful toxins in the system. Individuals should opt for the detox method suitable for them. Detoxification is particularly necessary, as harmful toxins find their way into the body and system through foods, drinks and household utensils, among others. Eating sensibly does not prevent this.
It goes without saying that a well-rested body is one that can function effectively in any given task. So, aside from adequate sleep at night, taking short naps, especially when the body requires it, is good. The body often augments inadequate sleep at night with short naps.
