C21 has lauded moves by the National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party, Chief Victor Umeh, to unite estranged members of the party.

President of C21, Sen. Annie Okonkwo, who spoke after the return of C21 delegation from the inauguration of Ghanaian president, said behind kernel of every disagreement is subconscious yearning for reconciliation.

“It is my belief that as this reconciliation process has started and is gathering momentum, its driver captained by the national chairman would pilot it to a cruising level with wings wide enough for everybody’s accommodation,” Okonkow said.

“Reconciliation is the best tunic for renewal, recovery and growth. Our chairman, being a general tested in the political warfront, should be lionised for the peace he has earned and eager to increase. That way, APGA, which is south-east political inheritance from our late leader, Ikemba Ojukwu, will prove cynics wrong.”

Okwonko also commended Ghanaian’s political transparent electoral process, which he said, is people-driven rather than manipulated data. “I was impressed to learn that every vote that counts in Ghana is a vote by a Ghanaian, not a data fed by a compromised electoral crook. Their cost of elections is fifty times cheaper than of Nigeria,” he said.
