THE International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), through its Community Based Agriculture and Rural Development Program (CBARDP), has donated 39 motorcycles to IFAD planning and evaluation officers in nine local governments in Jigawa State to boost their moral for better performance.
The state commissioner of agriculture, Alhaji Rabiu Isah, who launched the motorcycles at the premises of the Jigawa State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority yesterday in Dutse , warned the officers to use the motorcycles for official purpose only.
He said the objective of IFAD-CBARDP was to promote the adoption of community-based approach that would be anchored by the affected community to address poverty, land degradation and low agricultural.
