(Ideal beverage for everybody to help promote good health)

Soya bean milk is pleasant sweetish beverage of white or creamy colour. It is produced from soaked, ground and steamed soybeans. Soy milk possesses comparable nutritional value like protein and molybdenum B1, B2, B6, and E and folic acid, iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper phosphorus and omega-3 fatty acids. Soy milk and other soy foods contain high concentrations of isoflavones, which play vital role in promoting good health. Soy milk also offers many of the health benefits, which include alleviating symptoms of menopause, protect against arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and certain types of cancer.

Health benefits

Helps to build strong bones: Research has shown that soy food consumption helps in building up of strong bones and prevents osteoporosis (reduction in bone mass and density, which can result in bone deformation or fracture). Consumption of soy protein (plant base proteins) reduces the urinary loss of calcium and increases mineralisation and bone density while consumption or heavy use of animal based proteins provokes a loss of calcium through the urine, which is the major cause of osteoporosis. Studies from 1998 uptil now have provided evidence that isoflavones promote bone health.

Prevents skin disorders: Due to the high content of linoleic and linolenic acids (unsaturated fatty acids), soy milk is conducive to a healthy skin and corrects many cases of eczema.

Cancer prevention: According to researches conducted recently, Isoflavones (daidzein and genistein) found in soybean milk protect the body from breast and prostate cancer.

Lowers elevated cholesterol: Regular consumption reduces the total blood cholesterol level. This healing power is because of it high isoflavones content, which reduces the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol level that is harmful to the body.

Coronary disease prevention: Consumption of soy milk reduces risk of coronary artery disease because of its high phytoestrogen (isoflavones) content.  Isoflavones lowers blood lipids, low- density lipoprotein cholesterol, homocysteine, and blood pressure, prevents arteriosclerosis thereby maintains a healthy heart and prevents heart attack.
