THERE was change of leadership within Kaduna State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) yesterday, as the new council executives that will run the affairs of the Christian body at the state level for the next three years were elected, with Most Rev. George Jonathan Dodo of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria emerging as the new state chairman.
Other executive members include Archbishop Josiah Idowu Feron and Rev. Sunday Ibrahim who emerged as Vice Chairman and Secretary respectively.
Senior Apostle Olatunde Adejumobi and Rev. Christopher Annger also emerged as the Assistant Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Dodo assured the Christian community in the state of running consultative administration, while appealing to Christians to support the newly elected officials in prayers.
Dodo also assured that his administration would be opened to constructive criticism, stressing that the administration should be called to order whenever it is going on the wrong track. “We must all be prepared to work together as good servants and stewards of God,” he said.
“We will welcome any constructive criticism that is meant to positively move the association forward”.
Former Kaduna State Chairman of CAN, Rev. Samuel Kujiyat, commended the support accorded him during his three years tenure.
