A HOUSE wife, Mrs. Grace Asunmi, has prayed an Ilorin Area Court to dissolve her three-year-old marriage because her husband, Matthew, “is very stubborn and a trouble maker.’’

Mrs. Asunmi, 35, who lives in Eyenkorin area, Ilorin, Kwara State capital, told the court presided by Mr. Ibrahim Abdulquadri, that her husband had become public nuisance because of his troublesome nature.

The petitioner said her husband always accused her of insincerity and was always suspicious of her actions.

“My husband has fought almost every member of staff in his office and our neighbours, not minding the need to protect the name of the family,” she added.

She recalled that their marriage was contracted in 2009, adding that the union had produced a two-year-old-male child.

The petitioner claimed that she was tired of living with her troublesome husband. The defendant, however, denied the allegations levelled against him and prayed the court not to grant his wife’s prayers.

“I am ready to change my behaviour because of my son,” he told the court.

After listening to the parties, the presiding judge, Abdulquadri, adjourned till January 3, 2013, for settlement.
