INTERNATIONAL Energy Insurance Plc, a leading underwriter holds a grand send forth for the former Group Managing Director, Mr. Ifie Sekibo in appreciation of his efforts in building IEI into an institution of high regard in the insurance industry.

Sekibo has now moved on to become the managing director of Heritage Bank.

The Management of IEI believes that the great efforts of Sekibo will remain in the sands of time as long as IEI continues to wax stronger. He pioneered a team of change makers, who were discontented with the status quo. The team identified a yawning gap in the insurance industry, Energy Insurance.

The whole of IEI has the consummate believe that this man should be celebrated for all his efforts in building what has become an industry leader in oil and gas business within just a few years.

Under him the company grew from a modest office building to become an international organisation with an Off-Shore office in Ghana.

In a bid to create continuity and corporate sustenance, Sekibo initiated a training programme that affords staff to regularly go to some of the best institutions abroad to be trained. That programme has today produced experts in first class underwriting in oil and gas business.

In celebrating this great achiever, Mrs. Roseline Ekeng, the managing director/chief executive officer of IEI Plc, affirmed that the move is to inspire those following behind in the hierarchy of leadership, that no singular effort will go unrecognised in IEI.

Sekibo’s visionary leadership gave IEI a huge head start and Thought Leadership. Whenever the iconic brand narratives of IEI are rehearsed, his efforts will be mentioned.
