U.S. creates 175,000 new jobs, as unemployment dips
THE United States of America's economy added a modest 175,000 jobs in May, the Labour Department announced on Friday, dispelling some worries that job creation had slumped in the spring.
The unemployment rate ticked up 0.1 percentage points to 7.6 per cent.
