DEDE Mabiaku's come back performances at Aqua 27 on Victoria Island in the last two Fridays were a throw back to his monthly performances at Fantasy Land and Nightshift (1999/2000) in a lot of ways. The crowd is very middle class, the stage is a hardly a rough sketch of the one at Afrika Shrine (old or new) and the emotional responses from the audience to the stage are extremely controlled.
