WHAT came out clearly from this year's convention of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) held in Minna, Niger State, is the need for the writers' body to begin the urgent process of reinventing itself to fit into modern modes of operation. And, this is instructive, especially for an association that should reputedly be in the vanguard of setting agenda for society in the diverse areas of culture, politics, and even economics.
