Valentine Tragedy: Assistant Commissioner of Police dies in Lagos Hotel

Tragedy struck the Nigeria Police Force community yesterday as the Area Commander in charge of Area K Police Command, Morogbo, Mr. Osung Ekpo, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) dies mysteriously while swimming in an undisclosed hotel in the city.
A Police source told The Guardian that the incident ‘was the worst valentine gift for the police’.
The Area Commander allegedly died in a swimming pool at a popular hotel in the Ajah area of Lagos.
The Guardian gathered that Ekpo who was in company of his friends, had gone to celebrate St Valentine’s Day when he decided to swim and was drowned.
Eye witnesses said that he was rescued from the pool and was taken to the hospital but died few minutes later.
But Lagos State Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police told The Guardian that the ACP had gone for a swimming exercise when the sad incident occurred.
Her words: “Yes, we lost ACP Ekpo, the Area Commander, Area K Command. He was exercising in a swimming pool when he died. I am preparing a press release, which I would send to you soon. “

Sad to read the news.
Unfortunately Nigerians need to be trained on how to apply first aid in any work environment. You don’t need to rush him to hospital, apply first aid, call the ambulance and take him to the hospital.
Moreover you don’t need to eat and drink excessively and swim
What Nigerians know as Ambulance is the Herse stationed at motuaries round the country. In Nigeria, ambulances are used to convey corpses not people.
Good, another useless bribe taking extortionist is gone.

Well what do you expect him to say? Once you’ve tasted police horror you would drop your respect for them. A good Nigerian Police is a dead one.
But the Nigeria Police are also wicked. Are you a policeman or something?
The Nigerian Police with its Military has been killing innocent IPOB and MASSOB members. I have no sympathy for anything tragedy that happens to any of their members. They all deserves to be drown in the Atlantic ocean if you seek my opinion. But I feel sorry for their the grieving families, if they do not support police killings and brutality against innocent civilians.
A Nigerian Policeman who can’t swim. He’s supposed to be busy taking bribes on Vals day, what is he doing at the undisclosed pool side? Obviously enjoying his loots with olosho. Good riddance!
