Nigerian-born American rapper, Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, well known by his stage moniker Wale and O Ye Rappers singer, Reminisce, have dropped vibes that they might be working on a new song together. The two were pictured together at a studio, with what seems like a new beat for Reminisce playing in the background.

The critically acclaimed Ridin in That Black Joint singer also plans to feature Nigeria’s rave of the moment Ojuelegba singer, Ayotunde Balogun aka Wizkid, in his fifth studio album, Shine. Wale shared the news on his Twitter handle, announcing the probable collaboration for the LP.

Wizkid, however, is poised to continue where he stopped in 2015 as he is set to ‘shine’ with the American rapper in the forthcoming album. The duo worked together in the past on songs like Drop.

Recalled Wizkid was busy on the international music scene last year, and he landed back-to-back international features with award winning acts including, Norwegian group Nico & Vinz, US rapper TY Dolla Sign, and was a guest on Grammy award winner, R Kelly‘s Buffet album.

The 31-year old American rapper has been in the Nigeria since last weekend, and was at the On-Air-Personality Tolu Oniru popularly known as Toolz wedding, on Saturday, January 30.

Wale rose to prominence in 2006, when his song Dig Dug (Shake It) became popular in his hood in Washington DC. He became locally recognized and continued recording music for the regional audience.

In 2008, he signed with Interscope Records for $1.3 million, and his debut album Attention Deficit was released in 2009 with the singles Chillin, Pretty Girls and World Tour. The album, although under-shipped, received positive reviews from critics.
