ONE day, Satan sent someone to me. After my encounter with the individual, I cried because the person made me to say what I was not supposed to say, which I later regretted. The devil does this so that he can place allegation against us before God. The self in you must die. Galatians 2:20 states, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Some people may not know this, but if they do, maybe it will help to create some fear in their lives. Maybe you do not know this, but it will interest you to know that on many occasions, God lays bare before His servant everything going on in your mind. God knows your motives, so when you have a particular thing in your mind and yet you portray another, God knows. No wonder Elisha was able to tell Gehazi in 2 Kings 5:26 that … “Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money, or to accept clothes, olive groves, vineyards, flocks, herds, or menservants and maidservants?” From the day the Lord brought spiritual children to a servant of God, He made it mandatory for the spirit of the servant of God to follow them, so that even when they are in danger, the spirit of the servant of God is there, fighting on their behalf. If you believe this one, why don’t you also believe that when you are doing anything against God’s servant, his spirit also sees you?

This shows the wickedness of man. You should always remember that the Spirit of God is the revealer of all secrets.

In Matthew 16:19, Jesus told Peter that He will give him the key of the kingdom. This was why there was always an outpouring of God’s power wherever Peter went to. How many Christians are truly broken? Anyone who always gives an excuse when corrected is not broken.

Another key that will make someone a vessel of revival is Love. Jesus had compassion on the people, even when His cousin, John the Baptist was beheaded. The Bible confirms this in Matthew 14:13-14 that “When Jesus heard what had happened, He withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed Him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.” Jesus still performed miracles despite the fact that He was mourning.

Do we have love or are we hypocritical because of what we want to get? You must live your life, as if today is the last day. Heaven is a Must. You must come to a point, where you live your life like Esther did, as illustrated in Esther 4:16, when she said, “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”

Also, the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego demonstrated their faith in God, when they told king Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3:16-18 that “…O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” It is time for you to take a stand for God.
