“The civil society platform on health is a national platform that has its state chapters to complement the efforts of government at all levels and enhance all inclusive implementation,” he said.

The director noted that the partnership through Global Alliance for Vaccine Initiative (GAVI), which is an international, has enabled the CSOs to make health interventions accessible and affordable to the people.

“GAVI believes that if we must achieve anything in the health sector, the civil societies must be united. The support is given to an umbrella body in Nigeria called Association of Civil Society Organisations on Malaria, Immunization and Nutrition (ACOMIN),” he said.
