NDLEA seizes 4.9g of cocaine in Bayelsa
BAYELSA State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said yesterday it seized 4.9 grammes of cocaine deceptively concealed inside a packed of a sealed pharmaceutical product during a routine check on the East-West road.
The cocaine was being transported to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in a branded commercial bus.
The agency spokesman, Ikenne Osakwe, who disclosed this in Yenagoa, stated that the actors in this offence have also been arrested, while the matter is under further investigation.
According to Osakwe the agency has so far arrested 14 suspected drug traffickers in different parts of the state capital and its surrounding communities.
