Minister to discuss Nigeria’s diversification agenda at forum
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Okechukwu Enelamah will tomorrow discuss measures by the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to diversify the nation’s economy.
Themed “Nigeria without oil: A new agenda for change”, Enelamah, at quarterly business luncheon of the Institute of Directors (IoD) scheduled to hold in Lagos, will address industry stakeholders on the strategies of the federal government.
According to a statement by the Executive Director, Operations of IoD Nigeria, Mohammed Jumba, the theme was necessitated by the rising need for the government at the centre to diversify the economy.
“The luncheon will examine the social, legal, political and governance challenges facing the Nigerian economy and set a new agenda for a robust and vibrant economy”, the statement read.
