THE Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the demolition of premises and facilities that harbour criminals or facilitate their activities in the state.
  
The governor has also directed that any hotel or public facility that accommodates kidnappers be subjected to the same fate.

Government had in the past demolished buildings and premises used by child traffickers and baby factories in Aba and Umuahia
   
The governor, according to his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Godwin Adindu, said It is also incumbent on every member of the public to give out information on any shady character living in their midst, stressing that security must be everybody’s business in the fight against kidnapping and all other heinous crimes.
