A medical expert and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a non- governmental organisation (NGO) , Omoglobal Health Services Solution Inc (USA), Dr. Pius Ehi Omoruyi has stressed the need for Nigerians to embrace international best practices to curtail diseases outbreak as well as proactively engage in basic health awareness programmes towards ensuring safer health for all and sundry in the wake of the recent Lassa fever outbreak in the country .

According to him, promoting diseases awareness ,personal hygiene and environmental sanitation activities and campaign will enhance public health confidence as well as promote the goal of modern healthcare in the fight against Lassa fever and other critical and terminal ailments.

Omoruyi in a statement made available to The Guardian in Benin City, Edo state capital said , though the country is facing hard times financially and politically, there must be a common resolve towards achieving the Nigeria her citizens dream of.
