The Chairman of Enyimba FC of Aba, Ayansi Agu, is optimistic the club will emerge victorious in the second leg tie of their CAF Champions League tie against Vipers of Uganda.

The Aba side lost the first leg 0-1 in Kampala and the second leg will hold on February 26 in Port Harcourt.Ayansi stated that the one goal defeat against Vipers FC of Uganda last weekend was an eye opener for players and coaches of Enyimba, adding that it would ginger them to work harder on their tactics before the return leg.

The NFF Technical Committee member stated that despite playing the return leg away from their traditional home ground in Aba, Enyimba would not lack support, as plans are in top gear to ferry enough supporters to Port Harcourt to cheer the team.

He noted that winning the CAF Championship League remains Enyimba top desire as the club management was putting all its resources together in ensuring the club does Nigerians proud.

On the 2017 Afcon qualifiers against Egypt, Ayansi stated that the Nigeria Football Federation was putting concrete arrangements in place in making sure the Super Eagles grab the ticket.
