Well said and incisive. But just as the article insinuated saudi arabia is also not an african country and nobody appointed it the police of the middle east or islam. Take the case of yamen. The saudis under the guise of restoring an unpopular regime and stopping an imagined iran influence has bombed d hapless nation back to stone age. There are reports that even isis was initially backed by saudi arabia until probably when they realised that the assad regime cannot fall by force and the matter is boomeranging on its soil.
The shia followers unlike their saudi/sunnis have never attacked anybody. They are the ones that are being bombed i nside their mosques in iraq, yemen, pakistan, and even saudi arabia. Most of these crimes could be traced to illiterate extremists from the sunni schools backed by probably saudi arabia. Even the case of Nigeria was a case of genocide of unarmed innocent over zeleous youth. Yes. It is wrong to block a public high way. But then do you kill someone because of that? Even the military has confirmed that they didn’t find any wepons in the home of the leader of the muslim brother.
Nigeria is a very fragile country religiously and socially. It should therefore stay clear of middle east politics. One is in this regard glad with the snubbing of saudis invitation to nigeria to join a so called islamic untiterrorist coalition. The saudi arabian government does not represent islam but the saudi family.
