Institute Assures Of Agric Revolution In Nigeria
THE Acting Director of National Centre for Agricultural Mechanisation (NCAM) Ilorin, Dr. Yomi Kasali, has said that the institute is positioned for agricultural revolution under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kasali, at the institute yesterday, said more tools and machines for mechanised food production and preservation have been designed by the institute to alleviate problems of mass food provisions and preservation in the country.
“The NCAM is the only centre for mechanisation of agriculture in the whole of sub-Saharan Africa. It is a training, research and development institute that has the manpower and resources to host the on-the-job capacity building through the Nagoya University in 2010 and the United Nations University-Institute for Advance Studies and Sustainability (UNU-ISP) in 2012.
