Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has restated his commitment to reduce and eliminate mortality rate among children with preventable diseases vaccine. He therefore called for total support in the fight against measles.

Obiano gave the promise at Measles Vaccine Campaign held at Primary Health centre, Amaokpala in Orumba North Council Area of the state, yesterday.

According to the governor, the state was committed to the provision of healthcare delivery services, adding that mothers would need to ensure that they bring out their children of between the ages of nine months and 59 months for the on going vaccination exercise in the state.
