EFCC arrests Dokpesi in arms deal investigation
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Raymond Dokpesi in connection with ongoing investigations into the arms deal trial of former National Security Adviser , Sambo Dasuki.
Dokpesi, Chairman of Daar Communication, owners of the Africa Independent Television, is the second individual to be arrested by the EFCC in connection with the ongoing trial. Former minister of state for Finance, Bashir Yuguda was arrested on Monday.
Dokpesi is answering questions on the arms purchase scandal and an alleged theft involving $2.1billion said to have been received from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
