Total targets 10 solar-powered filling stations by December

TOTAL Nigeria Plc, has expressed its commitment to further improve service delivery to customers, even as it unveiled plans to lunch additional eight solar-powered filling stations to make a total of 10 efficient stations across the country.

The oil marketing firm already has one solar-powered station in Ikeja Lagos and Abuja, but Its Managing Director, Mr. Alex Vovk, told The Guardian recently that works are on-going at other eight stations, which are expected to be commissioned by December this year.
“It is a great innovation and we are working to expand the network. By December this year we will be rolling out another eight solar powered filling stations across the country. We have started work on them and i hope it will be completed by December and thus bring it to 10 solar-powered stations,” he said.

Vovk, who disclosed this during the launching of its Top Service scheme in Lagos, said the company is determined to deliver quality services to customers and acquaint them with necessary safety features and vehicles maintenance.

He said the Top Service scheme are now enjoyed by its customers across the country, assuring that a monitoring team has been set up to ensure that every Total Station delivers Top Service to customers.

According to him, “The team will be paying emergency visits to the stations to ensure full compliance by attendants.”
Services rendered under the Top Service scheme includes checking of oil level, cleaning of windscreen, friendly and warm welcome, accurate selling gauge and ensuring quality environment among others.

Vovk personally attend to customers at the Ikeja service station in furtherance of the Top Service and enjoined attendants to treat customers as kings.

Total Nigeria Plc has remained a major operator in the downstream sector of the Nigerian oil and gas industry with an extensive distribution network of over 500 service stations nationwide and a wide range of top quality energy products and services.
