businessCONSISTENT with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy of bettering its host communities, an indigenous player in the upstream sector of the nation’s oil and gas industry, Moni Pulo Limited, has empowered 400 business owners with tools at Mbo Local Council of Akwa Ibom State.

Speaking recently at the event which was this year’s edition of the firm’s Community Empowerment Programme, the Executive Vice Chairman, Dr. (Mrs.) Seinye O.B. Lulu-Briggs, said the occasion underscored the unwavering commitment of her company to the wellbeing of the people of Mbo Local Council.

“As we present our brothers and sisters in Mbo with equipment to start up their business, our belief is that livelihoods will be secured and enhanced, hope restored and self-esteem improved, as more people will be given the opportunity to unlock their potential and the fortunes of families and indeed entire communities will be improved,” she stated.

The company, via the programme, had aligned with the ‘Dakka Da’ social awareness initiative of the Governor Gabriel Udom Emmanuel administration in the state.
