Ahmed sends nine commissioner-nominees to Assembly

Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has sent additional nine names to the Kwara State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners. This brings to nineteen the number of nominees forwarded to the house for confirmation, according to a statement by Dr. Muyideen Akorede, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications.

Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has sent additional nine names to the Kwara State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.

This brings to nineteen the number of nominees forwarded to the house for confirmation, according to a statement by Dr. Muyideen Akorede, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications.



According to the statement, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, in a letter forwarded through the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, thanked the Speaker and members of the Kwara State House of Assembly for the speedy confirmation of the first set of nominees and expressed the hope that the new names will be treated with in the same manner.
