What will you say is Governor Okowa’s achievements in his 100 days in office? It is just an old wine in a new bottle. In his 100 days in office, there is no project to show. There is nothing to score him or celebrate as his achievements.
Chief Tony Ezeagwu has been quizzed by the police over the reported discovery of election result sheets

Chief Tony Ezeagwu, the Delta State Chairman of the Labour `Party speaks on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s 100 days in office.

What will you say is Governor Okowa’s achievements in his 100 days in office? It is just an old wine in a new bottle. In his 100 days in office, there is no project to show. There is nothing to score him or celebrate as his achievements.

There is no transformation. Many people that were employed by the previous administration were sacked. Is that an achievement? There is nothing to applaud. Don’t you think he is poised to deliver? There is no direction. The government is directionless and lacks focus.

The only bill so far is the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) which was passed by the House of Assembly and recently signed into law.

There is no sign of seriousness of what the government wants to do or where it is heading to. There is nothing to talk about. If you take a look at the state capital of Asaba, did you see any completed project? None of the drainage projects started by the last administration has been completed. Asaba is flooded whenever it rains.

But the governor has set up the Asaba Capital Development Agency to give the capital a facelift? What the people want is performance, not a development agency.
