DEPUTY National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Timi Frank, yesterday faulted those calling on the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, to resign his position.

In a statement in Abuja, he berated those who purportedly gave Saraki such an ultimatum to vacate his office on the basis of unproven allegations.

According to him, a quick check has shown that there is no such youth group named: “Northern Ethnic Nationalities Unity Congress (NENUC), therefore they cannot purportedly speak on behalf of northern youths, as you cannot put something on nothing.”

He further stated that the organisation is not recognised by law and the people of the region it claims to represent, adding that the supposed convener, Bako Benjamin, remains a shadowy figure.
