TTW Summer workshop back with 8th edition

The Treasured Writers workshop 2015 makes a return next week Monday. The six-day event is scheduled to take place from August 10 through 15, at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, from 8am to 5pm every day, Monday through Friday, and 10am to 12noon on Saturday.

The workshop teaches children creative writing while they have fun with resource persons drawn from different fields. The children will have lunch at an Indian restaurant, watch a movie at Silverbird Galleria and learn fitness through dance aerobics, choreography and also learn to write their own column amongst other activities lined up.

TTW started in 2007 by foremost broadcaster and writer and Executive Director, Programmes, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abuja, Mrs. Eugenia Abu.

The workshop has hosted such guest resource persons as leading actress Kate Henshaw, Kingsley Aduaka and author Ms Tricia Nwaubani among others.
