on-going construction of his All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) National Secretariat in Awka.

It also demanded for statement of accounts of the cash receipts and allocations of the local councils in the state since he came on board about 18 months ago.

The governor was also accused of funding and running the party secretariat where the PDP said “the APGA National Chairman and the state chairman allegedly withdraw millions of naira from the account of Anambra State government as allowances on a monthly basis.”

Besides, the PDP executives in their meeting, where they addressed journalists, confirmed that they have ratified the suspension of some members of the party as recommended by the disciplinary committee the party earlier set up to look into accusations levelled against them.

Those involved included the PDP governorship candidate in the November 16, 2013 governorship election in the state, Tony Nwoye, Prince Ossy Ezenwa and Basil Ejidike, among others.

Obiano was equally accused of running the local councils aground, rendering them redundant and non-functional with abandonment of all inherited projects while no new ones had been initiated.
