FalconsAS the Super Falcons take on their host, Equatorial Guinea, tomorrow in the race for Rio 2016 Olympic Games football event, former coach, Edwin Okon, has said that all hope is not lost yet.

The Falcons drew 1-1 with Equatorial Guinea in Abuja two weeks ago in the first leg.

Speaking to The Guardian yesterday, Okon said: “I think the girls can still do it. What I feel the handlers should do is to ginger the girls and put them in the right frame of mind.

“Let’s give them the right morale that they need and let them realise how important the match is. Having failed to qualify for the last edition, the country cannot afford to miss this chance. In football, anything can happen. Our hope of qualification is not lost yet. I still believe they can still make it.”
