the CV of the NCC boss is more impressive than that of the NNPC boss. I hope the NNPC boss is up to the task. Lawyers are generally float successful business ventures. And he probably knows the in and out of the oil sector. I hope he balances the interest of his western exposure and ideology with that of our local content here. It would have been good to know the roles he played while at Texaco and Mobil. Overall, I want to trust PMB’s judgement on this very sensitive office. hehehehe I look forward to the change of management at NNPC.

I dey watch. It looks like Osibanjo or Osibande is solely holding forth for SW in Buhari government of ‘change’. He appointed 12 Northerners and remembered Niger Delta twice. Thus far Buhari managed to hire one from SW to be defending his tricks. Hahaha! Tinubu I sindon dey look and laugh o! Better positions don finish o! Every state contributes one minister o! Eehe!

GREAT AND VERY BOLD MOVE. MK KACHIKWU’S APPOINTMENT IS NOT THAT HE IS A PERSON OF IGBO EXTRACTION BUT BECAUSE HE IS A VERY QUALIFIED, VERY ABLE AND VERY COMPETENT PERSON. WHILE I CONGRATULATE HIM AND ALL NIGERIANS, I ALSO CONGRATULATE AND PRAISE PRESIDENT BUHARI WHO KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD, RECOGNISES IT AND IS ALWAYS WILLING, ABLE AND READY TO USE IT. THAT IS THE VERY GREAT ATTRIBUTE OF THE PEOPLE’S PRESIDENT BUHARI. –

THE NNPC APOINTMENT MAY LOOK SO GOOD ON PAPER BUT IT IS NOT A BRILLIANT ONE. YOU CANNOT COMPARE THIS APPOINTMENT WITH THAT OF THE NEW NCC HELMSMAN. THIS IS ONE REASON NCC HAS BEEN PERFORMING CREDITABLY SINCE INCEPTION. THE OIL INDUSTRY NEEDS A TECHNICAL PERSON TO CAPTAIN THE SHIP. THE NNPC ACT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONSULTED. I THINK IT SPECIFIES WHO COULD BE APPOINTED A GMD. THE OIL INDUSTRY IS GLOBAL, NO DOUBT; NNPC NEEDS A VERY SOUND TECHNOCRAT WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN THE NIGERIAN OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY.

Many thanks to President Buhari for halting the lie which had fast assumed the character of truth, to wit, that “Merit” is alien to the Igbos. Which is a white lie, for even Darkness knows fully well that if truly the name of the game is Merit, the Igbo will not be find at the rear.
