Tribunal to hear petition against Gbajabiamila July 27
THE National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, will on July 27, 2015 hear the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate of Surulere Federal Constituency I of Lagos State, Mr. Tony Ashikodi, challenging the declaration of Dr. Olufemi Gbajabiamila of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the March 28, 2015 election.
Ashokodi, who had petitioned the tribunal through his counsel, Mr. Kalu Onuah, challenging the victory of Gbajabiamila, alleged irregularities during the election, which he said, breached the provisions of Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) approved guidelines for the polls.
At the resumed proceeding yesterday, Chairman of the three-man panel, Justice C.U Anwuka, who struck out all pending applications earlier filed by both the respondents, Gbajabiamila and INEC, as requested by their counsel, Mr. Dele Adeoti and C.N. Olaitan, subsequently adjourned the matter till July 27 for hearing of the substantive petition.

Tony Ashikodi who is not Yoruba citizen even not from Lagos, now challenging a Yoruba man from Lagos on his land against his victory of an election. This country call Nigeria need a constitutional reform, we cannot practice our democracy same way is been practice in western world. Nigeria is a diverse of natural ethnical nation forming an artificial nation call nigeria, nation of this type practice system of autonomous, in which each ethnical region, that form the artificial nation choose within their brethren to represent them at national city. And for any person to represent Lagos, you must first of all share same spirit with Yoruba ,love Yoruba and be Yoruba, because Lagos is Yoruba land. Tony Ashikodi from his behaviour his a treat to Yoruba on their land he can not represent us, even all his votes came from those against the will of Yoruba on their land, Yoruba stand for your right now, stop a technical invasion of our land by any other ethnic of nigeria, under the provision of national law of nigeria that is totally in contradiction to our destiny, in term of what we want for our world..
