Edo state ‎governor Adams Oshiomhole, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) yesterday congratulated Muslims across the country on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan.

In his Eid-el-Fitri message by his Chief Press Secretary, Peter Okhiria, Comrade Oshiomhole said “I rejoice with the Muslim Ummah as it has pleased Almighty Allah to see us through the Holy month of Ramadan.

“Having observed strictly the injunctions of Almighty Allah by self-denial through fasting and prayers and by offering Zakat to the less-privileged, I urge the faithful not to forget the lessons learnt, to wit, the spirit of piety, alms-giving, of compassion and love for fellow men.

“ President of PFN, Rev Felix Omobude in a statement saluted Muslims for their personal sacrifices and denial of self during the period and admonished all Nigerians, irrespective religious beliefs to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, dedication and commitment to the growth, peace, unity and development of our dear country.
“‎The PFN is using this occasion of Eid-el Fitri celebration by our Muslim brothers and sisters to sue for peace, harmony and unity among all Nigerians, irrespective of their affiliations.
