THE All Progressives Congress (APC), Niger State has called on Muslim Ummah in the state to learn a lesson from the just concluded Ramadan to pray for and preserve with the present leadership of APC in the state and federal levels.

The party, in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Mr. Jonathan Vatsa said that the lesson inherent in observing the fast is that with patience, the faith of man in Allah as the ultimate could be strengthened no matter the pains and sufferings, just as there is hope for the best at the end of every travail.

In a related development, the senator representing Niger East Senatorial District in the Senate, Barr. David Umaru, on behalf of his family and the people of Niger East Senatorial District has joined millions of Nigerians to felicitate with Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitri.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Minna on yesterday, the senator urged all adherents of Islam to follow the exemplary deeds of the Holy Prophet which centred on love, peace and tranquility among the people, stressing that “We should be reminded that the development we are yearning for can only be possible in the presence of peace and harmony.”

APC stated that with divine lessons of patience, brotherliness, togetherness, peace and sacrifice, the people should support the APC governments at all levels as they strive to remedy the rot caused by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the years, adding that the party will continue to be committed to what is in the interest and overall good of the state.
