Femi, Yeni Kuti and a few members of the late Femi Segun’s family are expected to storm London for the wedding. Rolari, 27, got married to her Australian fiancée, Benedict Jacka, at a grand traditional marriage ceremony held at the New Afrika Shrine, Alausa CBD, Ikeja, Lagos.

The ceremony which commenced at around 1pm saw the Segun and Kuti families received the large Jacka family, who stormed Nigeria from England to perform the traditional rites as dictated by the Yoruba culture.

The wedding which had yellow and white as the colours of the day, attracted dignitaries from the government, business and entertainment circles.

The groom, Benedict, in his early 30s, is an author based in Britain and best known for his Alex Verus series, while Rolari is a product of the short-lived union between Yeni Kuti and late Femi Segun, the son of famous writer, Mabel Segun who died in a motorbike accident in Lekki, Lagos last year.
