Speaking in Lagos, the company’s General Manager, Marketing & Corporate Services, Abiona Babarinde said his firm operates a business that thrives on innovations, stressing that was the reason his organisation remained a unique market leader in the elite automobile sector.

“The Jaquar XE compact range is a statement on Technological advancement and TECH+ Conference and Exhibitions offer a unique platform to unveil it to the Nigerian public, “Babarinde said.

The event, which was organised by MTN Nigeria in partnership with Connect Marketing Services, a marketing and consumer engagement company would feature industry leaders including Huawei, Jumia, Google, Coscharis Motors, Samsung, Terragon Group, Enplug Africa, Atlantic Exhibition and Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency (LASAA).

Speaking about conference, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, said that the global impact of technology across all areas of human endeavour has made it more imperative that people stay in touch with the world around them to be able to identify with technological advancements that could reshape their world.

Iweanoge said: “As we all know, technology is fast evolving and the world has become a global village where people from across the globe can communicate with one another with just a touch of a button. At times like these, it is important that we stay in touch with the world around us and keep track of the latest innovations that impact our world and our current existence.”

Head of Communications, Jumia, Bertille Guitton, ‎said her company’s involvement in TECH+ stems from the important roles technology has played in making life easier. She stated that the company has deployed Technology to simplify commerce in the last three years of operations in the country.

Also commenting on Tech+, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, MTN Nigeria, Olubayo Adekambi described the two-day exhibition and conference as an innovative annual platform for consumers and businesses to maximize their Technology experience. He explained that MTN is proud to show how the new digital economy is evolving and how consumers and businesses can take advantage of the evolution.

According to the organizers, the initiative has been developed to address key touch points that will afford participants the opportunities to explore new frontiers in the deployment of technology towards achieving both personal and corporate goals.

The exhibition will cover products and services in various areas such as healthcare and wellbeing, automobile, entertainment, education, computing, smart homes, wearables, Security, gaming, 3D Printing, and displays, among others.
