There seems to be no end to the lingering crisis in the Taraba state chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC), as the party Deputy Chairman, Martin Usman Ibrahim, has called for a probe of the party’s account.

Briefing journalists yesterday in Jalingo, the state capital, the deputy chairman who claimed that the party have sacked him, vowed never to relinquish his position as no letter had been issued to that effect.

According to him, ” though the party ,through the chairman, Hassan Jika Ardo, has claimed to have suspended me from office, but as far as I am concerned, I am still the deputy chairman of APC in Taraba.”

Wondering why they should be accusing him of ” anti-party” during the just concluded re-run that gave PDP victory, he said “If I did do anti party during the Presidential and April 11 governorship elections, is it the re-run election that I will get myself involve in anti-party activities?”

Accusing the party chairman of hijacking the party, he stressed the need for the relevant authority to probe the party’s account to unveil corruption within th party in the state.

“My chairman is the cause of APC failure in the state. There are so many negatives things he carried out that are against the constitution of the party. He always claimed that the National headquarters did not release funds for the party in the state . He also claimed he was always using his personal money to fund the party”
