STAKEHOLDERS in the development of the youth will converge on Ibadan on Sunday, May 24, to discuss the challenges facing the Muslim youths in the century.

In a statement by the Bodija Muslim Youth Forum (BOMYOF) chairman, Alhaji Abdur-Rahman Balogun said the discourse would hold at the Islamic Centre in Bodija, Ibadan from 10 a.m.

Balogun said the event coincided with the official inauguration of the Bodija Muslim Youth Forum, the youth wing of the Bodija Estates and Environs Muslim Community (BEEMC).

He said Prof. Ayo Hammed of the University of Ibadan will deliver a lecture on the theme of the inauguration: The Challenges Facing Muslim Youths in the 21st Century.

Other expected guests were Justice Lekan Owolabi of the Oyo State High Court as the chairman while Hon. Farouk Arisekola-Alao, Commissioner for Youth and Sport in Oyo state, will be the Special Guest of Honour.

Others were the guest of honour, Hon. Idris Lapade, Chairman Ibadan North Local government, Alhaja Mutiat Adeniran, Matron, while  Alhaja Sikirat Aderibigbe, MD Bolade Travels, is the Mother of the day.

The Imam of Bodija Muslim Community, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Afuye is the Spiritual father of the Day with Alhaji Tiamiyu Giwa , chairman of the Bodija Muslim Community as the father of the Day.

Other expected guests were members of the Muslim community and their children as well as Muslim youth of Islamic societies and groups.

The focus of the Muslim Youth Forum is spiritual development, marriage counselling, youth empowerment and educational advancement.
