The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William.F Kumuyi is scheduled to hold a mega crusade in
Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital between Sunday, May 17 and Monday,May 18.

The crusade tagged “Greater Ogun Re-visitation Crusade” would hold at the M.K.O. Abiola Stadium is expected to attract thousands of people within and outside the State.

The crusade would be the second to be held by Kumuyi in the State within the last six months. The world-renowned cleric, in November held a similar crusade at the Church’s Campground located at Kobape, few kilometers from Abeokuta during which many people with diverse diseases were healed through his prayers. Hundreds of people also gave their lives to Christ.

The State Overseer of the Church, Pastor Edison Daminabo, addressing journalists in Abeokuta urged the people to see the event as a chance for a new beginning in their lives hence should not allow anything to hinder them from attending.

“Unusual miracles are going to happen like never before in this crusade. The blind will be made to see, the lame will walk, deaf will hear and the dumb will speak at this crusade”, Daminabo assured.

He described Kumuyi as a world-renowned cleric who God has use to perform many miracles in many countries around the world. He stated that adequate security arrangement had been provided for the event, disclosing that over 200 personnel from the various security agencies would be on ground to provide security.

Answering reporter’s question, Daminabo regretted that despite the multiplicity of churches in Nigeria, the gospel is not affecting the spiritual lives of the people because many of the pastors are not spiritually minded hence their messages to their congregations have no spiritual impact.

He advised the in-coming government to be prayerful and allowed the fear of God to direct its affairs to be able to succeed, saying they must get closer to God.
