The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has ascribed her stable health during her husband’s eight years in office to divine intervention.

Mrs Jonathan stated this on Sunday at a farewell service organised for the First Family at the Aso Villa Chapel in Abuja.
“I was taken to Germany for a major surgical procedure during the campaign rallies for the just concluded elections.
“I went to four different hospitals while in Germany for tests and they returned a verdict that it was no longer necessary to do the surgery,’’ she said.
