Ahmed told newsmen in Sokoto on Wednesday that already proactive measures had been adopted to meet the target revenue of N117 billion for 2015 as instructed from the headquarters.

Ahmed said that officers manning the border post had been directed to block all forms of smuggling businesses, to ensure proper collection of revenues.

He explained that competent and dedicated officers had been deployed to manage all the identified `smugglers routes’.
