Chelsea are expected to be without Eden Hazard, who had three wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday. Ramires, Oscar and Kurt Zouma are ruled out with injuries, while Petr Cech is doubtful because of a calf problem and Cesc Fabregas serves a one-game ban.

Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson could miss out with a knee problem and Lee Cattermole is one booking from a ban and may not be risked. Jordi Gomez, Wes Brown and Liam Bridcutt remain sidelined by injuries.

With the Black Cats now safe, youngsters Duncan Watmore, Tommy Robson and Liam Agnew could be named as substitutes. Sunday will be a day of celebration for both clubs. Chelsea will lap up the Premier League trophy presentation.

They deserve to. They won more games and lost fewer than anyone else. Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has been ruled out with a knee injury and is a doubt for the FA Cup final.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mathieu Debuchy have returned to training after hamstring injuries but they will not be fit enough to play on Sunday.

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis has no new injury worries ahead of his side’s final game of the season. Goalkeeper Ben Foster remains sidelined with a knee injury, which is expected to keep him out until October. Arsenal should consider it a successful week.

Draws against Manchester United and Sunderland have virtually assured them of a third-placed finish, thus avoiding a dreaded Champions League qualifier in August. That fate awaits Louis van Gaal’s team.

The Gunners’ focus now turns to next weekend’s FA Cup final, where they could become the first team to lift the trophy 12 times – they are level with Manchester United on 11 – and they won’t want to go into that game on the back of a poor performance.

Relegation-threatened Hull City manager Steve Bruce has no fresh injury problems ahead of Sunday’s must-win fixture against Manchester United. Jake Livermore remains suspended because of a failed drug test.

Goalkeeper Victor Valdes could make his first start for Manchester United because David De Gea is a major doubt with a hamstring injury.

Wayne Rooney could also miss out with a dead leg, while Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw are unlikely to play.
