Ali backs Pacquiao to win May 2 showdown
THE world’s greatest boxer is backing Manny Pacquiao when the Fillipino meets American Floyd Mayweather on May 2.
Muhammad Ali has surprisingly dismissed Mayweather to support Pacquiao in the long-awaited superfight on May 2, with his daughter hinting that Ali is less-than-impressed with Mayweather’s gregarious lifestyle out of the ring.
“My dad is Team Pacquiao all the way! My dad stood for things,” Rasheda Ali said. “Mayweather … I don’t think there’s a comparison.”
“My dad really likes Manny. He’s a huge fan of his,” she told TMZ. “He knows Manny’s a great fighter … but it’s more about what he does outside the ring. He’s such a charitable person.”
Pacquaio channels much of his earnings into helping the poor in the Philippines and is increasingly involved in politics in his home country, whereas Mayweather is renowned for flaunting his wealth on social media.

Preferring one boxer’s lifestyle over the other is not the same as being able to predict the outcome of the fight. I definitely prefer Pacman, but I just don’t know who will win. However, Mayweather should not count on crowd support!
We will review and take appropriate action.
