What Is Shiba Inu

Basic Info about Shiba Inu Inspired by Dogecoin and developed with the idea of competing with this currency, Shiba Inu is a cryptocurrency named after the dog of the same name.

Prior to the Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB), few believed the success of DogeCoin could be replicated. In this review, we discuss Shiba Inu, what Shiba Inu price is based on, and where to buy it.

Basic Info about Shiba Inu
Inspired by Dogecoin and developed with the idea of competing with this currency, Shiba Inu is a cryptocurrency named after the dog of the same name. Its creator, who prefers to remain anonymous for the moment, chose the pseudonym Ryoshi as well as the Ethereum blockchain to create this cryptocurrency.

Unfortunately, there is little information about this new token. The Shiba Inu white paper claims that the project is presented as a “community and decentralized construction experiment.” Such an experiment prioritizes the goal of going beyond the valorization of Dogecoin, which emphasizes the protection of Shiba Inu dogs through the Shiba Inu Rescue Association. The official website also welcomes artists from all around the world to participate in the Non-Fixed Token (NFT) marketplace as part of the “Shiba art revolution.”

How to Buy Shiba Inu?

The SHIB, or Shiba Inu, was not always available on the most popular major exchanges. However, the Binance platform added this cryptocurrency in May 2021, following a request from its users. In China, the token is also being available on some popular exchanges, such as Huobi and OKEx. Others are expected to follow suit later.

In addition, the company behind Shiba Inu is developing its own platform called Shibaswap. In the meantime, they can still be bought through Ethers or Bitcoins, that is, by exchanging the latter for Shiba Inu tokens on a platform that accepts BTC/SHIB or ETH/SHIB pairs. Popular services, such as Coinbase Exchange, Libertex, Uniswap, eToro, or Hotbit, can be used for this purpose. At this stage, Shiba Inu is not seen as an exchange currency but as an investment currency — buyers hold Shiba Inu tokens in the hope of a price jump.
