Elections 2015: PDP wants Nigerians to disregard results on social media.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has advised Nigerians to disregard the misleading results circulating in the social media on the March 28 Presidential and National Assembly elections in some polling booths.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Olisa Metuh, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, in Abuja on Sunday.
According to him, the figures are fake.
“They do not represent the true results being collated by INEC, the only body authorised to release and announce election results,’’ he said.
Metuh further called on the people to be on guard and close ranks in resisting the plot to plunge the nation into chaos and anarchy.
He said the country`s democracy had come to stay, and that the will of the people must prevail over and above the parochial ambition of a selfish few.
He, however, cautioned the opposition against desperation and use of dishonest methods, including physical attacks on PDP members and its supporters, in order not to pose threat to the nation’s democracy.

PDP will want that so as to hide the truth from the public, let the result be publicised so the voters will know when the results that were announced at the PU’s are not the results that are being sent to INEC. we want to have a transparent voting system so no on person can know the real result but the entire country. #NigeriaDecides
I haven’t read about Fani Kayode’s scorecard but it is true dt d results being circulated like wild fire on the social media aren’t authentic!!
Who then do we believe here. Fani Kayode is posting bogus figure of 64% victory for PDP. Certainly he knows he can never achieve that.
When strong men fights, it looks not serious, but getting close to the clustered fists,reminds you of how strong bones could be. Dr. Goodluck, and Gen. Buhari (Rtd.) are all Nigerians. Let us allow professor Jega A to perform his lawful duty.
